Bullit owners (the car, not the wheels),come in

A friend has on 01 Mustang Bullit, with about 60K miles. He has hesitated making any mods and it is all stock. He is getting the bug to make some mods but has been told not to change anything as it would devalue the car. It is his daily driver and he is on somewhat on a budget (like most of us). What mods should he consider? (I don't know much about what Ford did to the Bullits to make them so special, if anything). Any info would be appreciated.

Gears, exhaust, shifter, pulleys, T/A, etc.

There are so many products available for us now, it's just a matter of how deep your pockets are.....

60K? Tell him to go wild. He has a great platform with the special intake, suspension and brakes. He's already burnt up any collectible value with that kind of mileage.

If he plans on keeping the car for twenty years then he should keep it stock and hope that it start appreciating in value.

If not, tell him to get some 4.10 gears and a speedometer calibrator (speedcal). This should cost him +/- $400 and will wake up the acceleration.

Have him check out www.IMBOC.com

Just about everyone has modded their Bullitt in some fashion.
