How much Horsepower does a STOCK 2001 Bullit have????

Most put down about 230 to the wheels stock. That means about 270-275 at the engine.

Supposedly the Bullit had like 265 HP because of the stainless steel exhaust system. It wasn't a real gain but increased in sound and 5 HP.

Then how much does a GT put on the wheels???
coz when i raced a STOCK bullit , as it was passing me in 3rd gear it didnt seem like a 5 HP difference!!!!

At the Mustang shop where I had my car dyno'd, the tech stated most stock GT's are usually somewhere in the 220's at the wheels.

BULLITT INTAKE, not a "Stainless steel" exhaust system!! Cause stainless steel makes more power RollyEYES

yea, any performance increase is most likely due to their intake. Bullitts are great cars, but not really anymore powerfull than a well running GT.

yea the intake is what gives them the extra horses. rated 265 from ford....puts down around230-232 to wheels.

They did have different mufflers/tips if im not mistaken....not that it makes much difference in power though

They have a better tune, Power curves are better on the Bullitts, and also have more torque.........
