This has got to be one of the best car chase scenes in movie history.

during that movie on that scene the brakes actually went out on the stang but good old steve was able to stop it by down shifting. not that it really matters, he just wrecks it late anyways.

Id rather have the green VW Beetle. If you watch closely, every other scene the same car is ahead of the Mustang..... which means its faster. Oh, and the charger loses 6 wheel covers during the chase

Keep in mind that it was filmed in 1968. It was a groundbreaking scene at the time.

Great observation. I even have the DVD and haven't noticed that lmao.
