Is there any drilling required for instaling the Bullitt chrome fuel door or does it just sorta snap in?

No drilling, just need an allen head wrench. It re-uses the existing screws.

No drilling, you just remove the bolts holding on the stock fuel door, and then remove the two rubber stopper things around the edge. Then you take the torx bit screws which come with the new door and put them in the old locations, and use some locking stop washers or nuts to hold it on. There's 2 short torx screws which screw in to these little black clips that go on the opposite side of where it mounts.. you'll see what I mean once you are installing it.

did anyone else's rust like mine? the bolts around the outside looked like crap..i had to paint them. I found a nice one on www.kooltang.com. Its way better quality then my bullitt was.

Mine didn't rust.. I live in the desert though.. wonder if that affects it.

Mine looks like crap. First the bolts rusted, so I replace them with stainless steel ones. Now the door itself has corrosion of some kind on it. I wonder if I can clean it off without damaging the "brushed aluminum" finish.

Now I can't find my OEM one. Probably threw it away while cleaning out the garage.

Yea that's why you gotta use regular nuts on the back of the bolts.. I had to cobble some ridiculous combo of extensions and swivels together to break mine loose when I removed it.

Mine was $109, I think my Bullitt cost me @ $90 so whatever. If you can't afford it maybe its not for you I don't mind paying more for something thats better made.

Heh.. one of you guys should've bought mine.. it sold on eBay for like 25 bucks, you could've sent it off to be chromed or powder coated, and still paid less than a new one costs.

I'm gonna put mine on there also....rusty bolts an all actually i'll just get new ones before i sell it.

I paid $60 for my bullitt door. Money is not an issue.

so whatever
