How come no companies try to make a repro of this front bumper? I know its pretty dang similar to the stock bumper, but personally I think its way sweeter. Anyone else dig this bumper more than the stock one?

Flat across the bottom. No breaks in the middle grill. Its sorta like a mix between the stock bumper with some subtle styling simliar to the cobra.

And yes, the rear bumper is also awesome

just for an instant comparison:

+1, I would order the rear bumper, side skirts, and the front bumper. Its subtly different.

I feel like the stock bumper with the "shield" things protruding out the bottom make our mustangs look incomplete (hence the beautiful look of the Mach 1 chin spoilers). The bumper on the Bullitt prototype would have been a much better option

I had never, ever noticed those differences. I had that front angled shot hanging above my desk for a few YEARS and never noticed the difference in the front bumper. Jeez. The rear's pretty slick too, and I actually do like the spoiler. Good question why nobody ever tried to reproduce them.

The side scoops actually did make it to production of course. I thought about putting those on my GT to really smooth the car out....I've got a '99 Cobra hood on it and took the pedestal-style spoiler off, replacing it with a Saleen S281 wing. The Bullitt sides would've smoothed everything out...but I decided to keep the GT sides on there.

That rear bumper kind of looks like the Marauder rear to me. I think the thing I like the best about the front bumper is the lack of a license plate recess, and the way they did the honeycomb. Also, I don't think there are any side scoops at all on that thing...

Yeah no side scoops at all. Strange they didn't go with that on the real one. Guess they didn't want to have to stamp out different quarter panels for a limited run car.

I also kind of dig the steering wheel:
