Do you "need" the bumper guards installed to mount the bumpers?

If not, does anyone have a picture of a 66 (or close) that does not have the bumper guards. I think it may look neat without, but trying to picture it and my imagination isn't that great.

Thanks!

No you do not have to install the two chrome vertical bumper guards to install the bumpers. The bumpers bolt on to the bumper mounting brackets.

I have seen them both ways. I have seen quite a few that didn't have them. Personally, I think it looks better with them.

jspagna,

Thats a nice looking 66 you have there. I like the customization.

Can I ask you what size your KN Xstream filter is? Is it a 14 x 2.5 or another size? Is it a normal base?
