Hey guys.. My car has started smoking somewhat when at idle and I smell a faint burning oil aroma. One of my buddies told me I may need to get new piston rings installed. I've tried using "stop smoke" and other products like it. My question is how much can I look forward to spending to have the rings replaced.

Well, first of all, you gotta make sure its the rings. Could also be the PCV valve or valve seals. We opened a 6.8 V10 that was burning oil last week and found out one of the pistons had only 1 oil ring instead of 2 !! Straight from the factory !!
