I feel liek my car is burning oil.. I changed my oil 2 weeks ago, and only 4 quarts came out of the motor when 5 was put in. Thoguth i waited 5000 miles before i changed it 2 weeks ago. I just checked my oil tn, and its a tad low. How could this be, its def not leaking from filter, or drain plug. I drive the car really really hard, and someone told me that could be why. ANy ideas?

Switch to valvolin max life or castrol gtx high miles let see if its help, it does help me though.

the use of 1 qt of oil per 1000 miles of driving is NOT considered a problem, asper FoMoCo.
if your still troubled by this, when was the last time you changed your PCV valve? it should be changed at 30k intervals under normal driving
10-4 Lately I noticed oil on the passenger side valve cover. I replaced the pcv valve a few weeks ago and, problem solved. I have 44k miles.
Btw, when I went to my local Ford parts counter to get a Motorcraft pcv valve, I also needed the black plastic elbow that attaches to the top of the pcv valve. Instead of the $20 "hose assembly" (that has said elbow), the parts guy found the elbow by itself as a Cobra part.
