hey wuts up guys?well i sold my mustang about 3 months ago and i miss it too much and im ready to buy another one.i wanted your opinions on one im lookin at. its a 95 convertable gt black on black.it has 57k origanal miles, its completly stock and is a one owner car.its a 5spd,mach 460 grey cloth interior, straight body, clean interior.its been owned by a guy in the army and its always been garaged.the only problem is the paint on the hood and fenders is starting to spider web a little bit...just small hairline cracks, something that i would like to have fixed.other than that the car is really clean.the owner is like in mid 30s and has a 12 year old daughter he was saving it for.he decided its not practical for his daugher and is sellin it.this isnt his daily and has had an easy life.theyre askin 7500 but its negotiable

lemme kno what you think

thanks

$7500 is too much in my opinion. 57k miles is low, but now THAT low. I got mine last year with 80k miles for $6k, bone stock, pretty much mint condition with a brand new top. They have gone down drastically since the 05's came out, so I'd only give 6500 or a little more for it now.

yeah man, take it from me. when i got my car it was covered in hail damage. i got it for $2700 as a result of the damage. 130k miles with a flowmaster exhaust and k&n--not very big mods, so it was almost completely stock, too. i'm about to dish out another $1,500 to repair the hail damage and paint it the color I want, so for $4,200 i think it was worth it. if you plan on fixing the paint damage, i think even 6500 is a little much. max i'd probably pay for that car is about 5k + paint fix.

damn i thought this car was a good deal...seems like stangs took a big hit or something.i sold my 95 gt coupe with 102k for 6500.the car is a really clean car...the paint damage isnt something incredibly noticable to be perfect the hood and fenders would need paint.not something that would HAVE to be done.soo goin rate for a 95 gt vert with that low of mileage is what?im in cali by the way.

i missed mine too and bought a 1996 gt vert for $9000 with 72k miles. but it was too slow and the headswap would have cost too much, so i sold that a year later for $8000 and got my 1995 for $7000. i live in the DC area. i was happy with the deal. 57K is pretty low for a 95. seems like a good buy to me, but maybe i'm a sucker, or maybe car prices in DC are just higher than other places. god knows the cost of living is really high here ...

I'm with Chris...Myself I pay a tad more for a well taken care of, low milage car in nice shape...In the long run you could drop more on repair's for an higher milage unit nevermind the BS of it breaking down and working on it...If you turn your own wrenchs then thats a plus...Depends on what your looking for..a driver or something to work on for less money???
The paint deal isn't all that bad...look around for someone who does paint work on the side..that'll save you a bundle right there....

id say $6500 at the most just because of the paint.. i got my 95 for $6000 with only 62k w/ shorties, tb, trickflow intake and 17" gt wheels. but mines aode.

oh yeah only thing wrong with my paint was a little oxidation on the wing, interior WAS flawless. paint is alot. but like alot of people im sure ur gonna change the hood anyways. i wanted a triple black vert too..

yeah, i should mention that my brother in law is a mustang maniac, so getting a fixer-upper was good for me since i can rely on him. his brother also does paint/body, so he's the one that's going to be taking care of my car. you gotta consider what you're options are in the long run... if you don't want to deal w/ making repairs, i'd spend a little more for a car that's in a lot better shape.

Well checked it out today and its not bad. The "spider webbing" of the paint is paint... not just clear. Undercarriage is perfect, interior is clean minus one stain in rear seat from their kid. ran solid, heat/AC worked, convertible top operated properly, had a few scuffs on paint that cud be buffed. had 3 minor door dings along driver side.

Anything else I should be looking for specifically before i make my decision. Tomorrow I will be offering 6500 for the car and see if he will take it.

Thanks for your input guys
