Hey guys I'm getting ready in June after my job ends to buy a new v6 2007-2009 Mustang!
I'm taking suggestions!

I like the dark gray color. I've noticed that some of the mustangs have 2 headlights and 2 lights in the grill. Some do not?

I currently have a 99 white mustang, black cobra wheels 2000. with black mustang stripe along the bottom of the door I'm very proud and love my car! its just time for a new car for the new job

Any mods you guys want to link would be awesome, The car will have to be a automatic i've never had a chance to learn how to drive a GT

why not go for a 2011 V6 and get the better gas mileage and increased horsepower?

They are still fairly new but as time goes on more and more are going to appear on the used market. (I got my used 2011 GT CS a couple weeks ago)

I assume you mean you never learned how to drive a manual?

But that's okay, because GTs come in automatic, also. What kind of budget do you have to work with? There's a lot more potential for modding with a GT than a V6.

Also, welcome to Stangnet!

Hey

I had no idea that some Gt's were automatic. And yeah I mean't I cant drive a manual. I know theres more you can do to Gt's I seen that when I was looking for stuff to do to my car now.

I was thinking my budget will be $15k I havn't decided if that includes selling my car or not

Can someone explain why some of the mustangs have 2 lights in the grill? I figure it was a package from the dealer. I've been searching around americanmuscle to see if you can buy it

GT's came stock with fog lights in the grill. I believe they came with the Pony Package for a v6.

I doubt that you will be able to find a used 2011 automatic for $15K come June. It'd be really close though...maybe if it had a lot of miles on it for the model year if you were willing to wait an additional 6 months for the prices to drop more.

Not just some, but most mustangs, even GTs, have automatics. Just a quick glance at carmax.com, with a $15k max, you can get a nice 2004 Mustang GT, which would be much preferable IMO to any V6 aside from the 2011 or newer.
