Buying just the Hood scoop?

Friend of mine said I could purchase just the hood scoop for our cars, but I've never heard of that, I thought you had to buy the whole hood. If this is true, where can I get it at and how much do they cost? Thanks!

Yes, they are the same hood with the scoop bolted on. It's just that you are bolting it on and not Ford.

I was thinking of getting a new hood, but if it is possible to bolt that on I am defenitely going to look into that. For some reason I really like the look of the scoop, better than most every other hood ive seen, even though it is a factory part.

You waited a whole 20 mins before you had to repost, good patience OB1. If you were buying a new hood I would go with a Cobra hood, looks much better than a GT hood w/ fake air scoops.
