I am looking to buy a new car. I cant decide which to get a 98 cobra or a 00or01 gt.which would be the better car.

if you go with a GT get 01+ they come with improved stuff like hoodscoop, headlights ect...

well....modifications for the 96-98 cobras are hard to find, and very expensive, 99+ Gt's have alot more aftermarket stuff, still more expensive than the good 'ol 5.0

I would get a 94-95 cobra if i were you, altho the hood's on those 96-98's are SWEET

Go with the DOHC, 4V 98 Cobra.

Either one is cool.. lot more mod options it seems on the 99+ gt's and it is newer.. I think what it comes down to is which body style you prefer

thats what i was thinking of getting a newer gt. the only thing i know nothing about the 4.6
