I am thinking about getting the C&L plenum and either a accufab or BBK 75mm throttle body.

How much difference will this be from stock?

Have you guys had any problems with the C&L plenums and Accufab or BBK throttle bodys?

Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks.

I have a C&L plenum with an Accufab 75mm tb. I like them just fine. Just don't buy a MAC tb. They are cheap and crappy.

I will never buy a MAC tb I've heard so many bad things about them.

How was the power difference with the plenum and tb?

Didn't really notice a power difference but the throttle response is much better. I'm getting ready for a SC that's why I bought them.

I have the C&L with bbk75mm and it did open up the breathing and maybe added some HP. When i bought mine thats all that was available. Today i think i'd spend the extra on the accufab because of the quality and reputation. If money is tight just get the cheapest you can find since the HP gains are only like 1HP between them.

ive got the accufab tb and c&l plen..noticed a slightly quicker car, better throttle response and it felt like there was a small hp gain..no dyno though. very happy with both pieces.

www.rpmoutlet.com

Have your pic of either a C&L Plenum or BBK Plenum with a BBK 75mm throttle body for 299.95 shipped.

If you want the BBK Plenum and matching BBK throttle body, give New Ear Performance Parts a call. You can go to Fordpower.net forums, look up the vendor specials, and find an add where Mike is selling the BBK Plenum and matching 75mm throttle body for 289.95 shipped just to be in strict competition with RPM outlet.

The Accufab is a much higher quality piece but either will work. The BBK is a cast aluminum part while the Accufab is machined from a solid chunk of aluminum. I used to sell both and have installed both - if it were me, I'd buy the Accufab.

Might wanna look at that. The Accufab's paired together made the most power, and the 70mm made better gains too vs 75mm.
