C4 DIED

Went to move the stang out of the front yard sunday to the backyard and when i put the shifter in park it stayed in gear. The shifter moves up to park like it should but the tranny is still in low, will not crank of course due to the park or neutral switch. Any ideas on this thing or is it toast.

id say take a peek underneath and make sure the shifter linkage isnt loose. When I had my tranny rebuilt the guys forgot to tighten it and my car wasnt shifting out of low for a while too. The problem was that they hadnt hooked it up properly. you might have had something happen like that where the linkage just isnt as tight.

Thanks i will check the cable and linkage tonight. I not gonna put too much worry on it because its coming out eventually and a t5 is going in.
