C4 Shifter???

Hey just finishin up my 89lx build, b303 cam (the f cam wasn't doing so well on emissions :bang: ) Ported, Polished, Bored to a 306, 70mm Throtle body and EGR Flowmasters on order and the big nasty c4, 1500 stall and a shift kit.... the question is do I leave the ugly stock shifter? Or find something nicer...... any ideas? I don't want to dump alot of cash into the shifter because eventualy it will be getting a T-5

Ideas??

B&M Pro-Stick all the way, baby!! I've got a manual reverse-valve body in my C4 & with this shifter it's just so much fun!..I also have the neutral safety switch, so it took me a little while to get used to it, but nothing beats slapping back the shifter & getting sideways in second :D :nice:..my friend Fred Felt (2002 5.0 Real Street Champ :hail2: ) fabricated the shifter plate for me..I didn't like the cover the shifter came with..

you should definitely get a converter with a higher stall..at least a 10" converter with a 2800 stall!! you're car will feel pretty lame with that tight converter :notnice: I'm upgrading to a 3200-3500 10" myself..and if you really wanna enjoy that motor, get a reverse manual valvebody & you might think twice about switching to a T-5 :D
