Well i bought the conversion kit because i went from a stick to c4. you get the trans, bell housing, converter, flywheel, trans cooler, dipstick, and trans mount. Are you using your stock shifter? I just had to remove all the stick stuff and install the c4 stuff and run the trans lines. I'm not sure if my stick computer will work? The only other ting i had to do is move the crossmember forward by cutting the welds and rewelding it. thanks Jason

c4 help

Alright I got the right converter just put the trans in the car tonight. Everything bolted up like it should have. The body of the converter was made differently. It was just a little too big. Once the converter was seated in the trans you could see the difference on the clearance! Hopefully will start it up tomorrow I just need to run the trans lines. I need to find the routing. I'm running into the radiator and then to a remote cooler. Sould I run into the radiator first or the remote cooler? Does anyone know which fitting on the trans is the pressure and which is the return? Thanks Jason Oh yeah the trans kit was Art Carr and I paid $1699.00 Thanks Jason

Cool, glad to hear Art Carr stepped up. I'll kep that in mind if I ever have problems with my c4. BM proratchet works great with them. As for the cooler- i always runa oversized cooler for the trans alone- it keeps the heat out of the engine. Good luck.

I just run a cooler by itself. And the fitting closest to the tailshaft is the return, but I don't think it matters to your cooler. Good luck, glad you seem to be out of the woods on this.

I got the trans cooler lines ran and started the car filled the trans and put the trans in the gears. Seems like everything is working like it should except the pan bolt were loose and i was leaking fluid so i tightened them. I haven't put the car on the ground yet. I might have to change the trans pan gasket if i still leaks. They use the cheap gaskets with no sealer! I'll let you know. Thanks Jason

The trans works great! I finally fixed the leak it wasn't the pan gasket it was a plug on the side of the trans that was not tight. I had the car out last weekend and blew both head gaskets. The car is back together and runs fine I plan on getting it on the dyno and getting a chip made for it. Thanks for all your help Jason
