I removed an FMX transmission from my 69 cleveland Mustang. In its place I installed a rebuilt C6. I had the drive shaft shortened and balanced and a C6 yoke installed. The problem now is that the yoke wiil not fit all the way into the tailshaft. As a matter of fact it goes in the same distance as the FMX did. The splines are the same,31, but it seems to long. Anothe thing that i find unusual is that the spline start 2 and 5/8 inches from the topof the yoke, about the same length the yoke is to long. Does any onwe know if there are differetn size yokes for the C6. Thanks in advance.
