I have a C6for a SBF that was retrofitted to my 1969 Mach 1 with a 351W. The identifying marks on the valve body have been ground off and the mfg tag near the servo is gone. I know that the shape of the filter helps determine the year but the PO replaced the filter with something from a Chrysler tranny.
There is the letter "N" on the servo, which tells me that the tranny was made between 1974 and 1996.
I have a push-in modulator, which tells me that the tranny was made between 1972 and 1996.
All the rebuild kits say that they are either for 1966-1976 and 1976-1996. The features I have been able to identify do not help me determine which era my tranny was made so I don't know which rebuild kit to order. Are there any other features that might help pin things down?
