cabin air filter

where is the cabin air filter located in our cars? i havent checked it ever and was just wondering. i took out the piece where the wipers are hooked up to but it wasnt there and tried to take the piece below that off that has like 8 screws but it wouldnt budge... is that where it is at??? thanks

To the best of my knowledge our cars don't have them. I believe the 05 is the only mustang to be equipped with one. Vehicles that are equipped with them have them placed in the blower box.

well i guess thats why i havent found it... thanks for the replys..
it sucks b/c every time i get done cleaning the interior of the car it just gets dusty as helll again in less than a week, and i was hoping that was part of the problem..
