What CAI do you recommend? I have a 1995 GT with full exhaust. The exhaust concists of shorty headers, Off-road H-pipe, and Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back. I am looking into a cold air kit, and I am not really sure what would be the best one for me to buy. Any suggestions and reasons? Thanks.

Post number 3............... Welcome!

You can always go with a home made cai which is cheap & effective.

I made one when my car had just a few mods and I can say for sure, it was a mod that could be felt and even more so at night time when the air was nice and cool.

If that kind of thing appeals to you, there are many threads with all the details and pics on this site.

Hope you don't take offense to this idea

I told a guy on the Corral about a home made cai

He called me a "Hillbilly"

Then I'll be with you Grady! I'm making a home made kit for my car to replace my MAC kit when I do my fox TB conversion. I think $20 for materials at home depot is a lot better than $180 for a piece of chrome pipe.vv

yeah I made mine 2 days ago and i never thought i would say it but i think there is more of a gain than my pulleys. AT night when its colder you can deffinatly tell. Total cost was around $30 since I had to buy 10 ft of 3" pvc.

All CAI's make the same amount of power, so just get a $40 one off ebay that puts t he filter in the fenderwell, get a K&N filter, and call it a day.
