A CAI wont add any noticeable power just louder intake noise, if you want it for underhood bling then by all means get if you are looking for more power look elsewhere.

And make sure that you let your ecu adjust to the extra air flow for a couple of minutes.

It will add a couple hp, but nothing significant. Maybe 5 hp. An ebay CAI is the way to go. They are all the same. But like was said, won't add much power, mostly underhood bling.

What are your goals for your GT: Autocross or drag racing, N/A or FI, daily driver or trailer queen? How much excess $ do you have to play with after bills etc?

Along with exhaust upgrades it might add 4-5 HP at the most

JLTs have been dynoed at 8-12RWHP. Typically gain 1MPH in the 1/4. That and the demalte (sp) are the only ones that really work. All the others gain maybe 2HP, and some loose HP LOL.

I heard the K&N one works okay too. But the stock air tube with a removed or cut snorkel/silencer/whatever works almost the same if not better than a cheap CAI like BBK or Mac.

JLT and Demolet both do make power, though i have no knowledge of the KN FIPK. though on a side note, Hot Rod University benched a JLT vs a Demolet and the fenderwell Demolet did a fair amount more then the JLT...... but again. believe what you want. I'd get the Demolet. I have it, and did notice a different in the powerband.

Dont, even for a minute, believe these gains from an intake tube.

(Results are not typical - your results will likely be much less. Most CAIs offer no gain whatsoever. Void in AL, AK, MS, BS Gains posted are often the result of other factors not reported. No deposit, no return. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. Keep out of eyes.)
