Will a CAI really make a difference on my 94GT I already have a K&N filter.

The stock air box is a cold air intake of it's own, you likely will not notice a difference with a k&n filter installed. The aftermarket cai just look better and unless you are running a blower or turbo not needed. jmo.

What's your opinion on the March ram air to the original box?

Scientist say rerouting air with bends decreases velocity. Shortest point from A to B is straight.

I hacked up my fender Cold Air kit and made a straighter shot to the intake.

They do not. The stock one is 70MM with a 4-bolt flange and the next size up is the one in my After picture above. It's a 76MM BBK with 4-bolt flange. They used to have a Pro-M Bullet 75MM MAF with 4-bolt flange that I remember back in the day but it still didn't work with a stock air box.

After market cai's wont get you any noticeable power. I made my own cai which has straighter piping than the aftermarkets provided. The only difference i noticed was the suction of air when tapping on the throttle.
If your really set on getting one? Ebay and SRperformance has some good looking cai's
