not so fast, because he has press on cam gears which make the job MUCH different to hotstang's write up (which I used and is great for stg 1 cams). Anyways, with the press on's you cant just unbolt them and pull the cam out, you need new cam gears which requires taking the gear off the chain.. which is a whole other ball game. correct me please somebody if im wrong.

...I can take it. I think.

The press-on gears make it more difficult but not impossible. You would definitely want to pull the timing cover to reset timing. It helps to have a bud to give you a hand also.

99-00 with the windsor motor have pressed on gears. I have done the swap by reading several posts on it, including hotmusang331's post. You do have to pull the timing cover, mark the timing marks on the chain, and then remove the chain. Its really not that hard. I have done several times and could do a complete swap in 8 hours.

If you have an specific questions or want and help, just shoot me a PM
