I'm guessing you mean for the labor to have someone else install it. This is just a guess, but it's probably gonna be like 4 to 8 hours. So it could get pricy.

But call some shops and your dealer. Ask them how many hours they would estimate.

It's not too difficult to do it your self. If you go that far, I'd change the lifters and the timing chain as well.

roller lifters will last for a long time but most people just replace them since it's cheap insurance for later.

And once you're in there it's real easy to swap them. If you find yourself breaking the motor down later just for lifters, you might be ticked.

That said, I didn't change mine. They all looked new after 90,000 miles.

that cam worked great on my combo. i didnt have any surging stalling or idle problems at all. even with the 112lsa, the car also held good vacuum under all conditions. best part is, the cam is dirt cheap.

If you are thinking Kenne Bell down the road, then pick your cam based on that. The TFS is a great cam from what I hear, but I think it is primarily designed as a NA cam for use with Twisted Wedge heads. So just make sure you do plenty of research on cams for the KB.

BTW, if you do the cam, then the heads, you will probably want to do your intake next, cause that will be your bottle neck. Then you will want to do you TB, injectors, MAF, fuel pump/FPR, headers. All those parts build off the others.

So maybe you want to think about just starting with the KB, and call it good?
