I am looking for a cam.. It is a 93 5.0 engine and I am looking for the biggest cam I can stuff into it keeping the engine with stock specs , as far as the valves go.
The TFS Stage 2 cam is a nice cam. Some folks don't have to worry about piston to valve clearance. But if you do, just retard the cam 4 degrees and there ya go. But then again, I'm running the track heat heads so.... it might work with stockers but i don't know. The Ford E303 cam is a nice one too... I built a 306 with worked stock heads and ran the Z303 and it worked nicely.
a F303 (.512lift and 228dur., also has afat 115lsa very good from 2500-6000, ive herd they turn up to 7200rpm)cam its the biggest u can stuff in a stock block without noching the pistons an has a nice loopy idle, also the camresponds well too boost, and other mods, lots of people pushing 600-1000hp with turbos jut lookat turbomustangs.com , btw i have a barely used one for sale, , i now have a 418w stroker an needed alittle more cam.... let me now if ur intrsted, my emails xtremelimit285@hotmail.com
