No. you are changing the airflow of the engine beyond tyhe scope of what the computer can compensate for.

Why would you want too? You'd also have to change the gear on your distributor as well

You have the advantage in this case since the SD is a batch fire system. That means you have 2 banks of 4 injectors that "fire" or inject fuel at the same time. Mass Air injectors fire individually based on the firing order. It is much more difficult to use a 302 firing order cam with that type of injection.

Plenty of engines have been built using a flat tappet cam with SD. A few people have reported idle problems but more than likely they had other issues that were causing their idle problems.
