Alright, I'm going to be getting a check for around 1.5-2k for vandalism to my car. I'm just going to keep the money and put it into the motor and probably lowering springs. Whats the best way to make more power with the amount of money. I also considered saving all of the money and saving more for a s/c. I want more power and i want headers. Let me know what i should do. I will not be paying for the installation so i want the most power for about 1.5k. If it helps my car has 88k on it, 5spd, and a 2002

Gears will be a good place to start.
3.73's then save for the s/c.

not more power but some 4.10's will make it quicker.
at that price range about 500 installed but need to calibrate speedo.
headers run about 3-600 plus you need shorty mid another 200 easy there. for about 600 on average
cams - 600-700 bucks plus you really need a tune about another 500-600 there for a tune and flasher for about 1250 there

SC used you prolly could get one if you look.
nitrous yeah you could get it no problem in that price range.

Most power for 1.5k is hands down nitrous. No one can argue that.

Another vote for nitrous if you looking for the MOST power with 1,500.

i would go with gears. it is usually the first step you take for performance. and it makes it a heck of a lot quicker off the line.

I'd get gears and a tune to advance timing and at the same time correct the speedo. IF you get nitrous, don't go with anyhting over a 100 shot. I personally think with 88k miles, nitrous wouldnt be too healthy (over 100 that is)
