Can a coolant transfer tube be repaired???

Mine is leaking from the top of where it screws on to the manifold, it doesent look like it can be serviced and ford doesent sell it anymore and the junk yards dont have any!!!!!! it's all I need to drop the dizzy back in

I'm sure it could be. It only needs to withstand 15lb/sq in of pressure and 220 degrees. Hoever, you don't even need to use it. You can make your own with heater hose and a 3 way T-fitting for the sensor.

of if you dont use your heat at all, theres no need for those hard lines anyways

humm, 3 way fitting huh, anybody know the thread size?? I will need a fitting for the two hoses at the firewall also right? where can I get these fittings??

you can just attach heater hose to those two that come out of the firewall

Late Model Restoration I think sells them. Never seen one go bad though.
