Can a Fox be made to handle as good as.......

Alright Mike, I changed my mind. Take your car, and hand craft a '68/'69 fastback out of it. You could call it the"foxback?" Im sure you could do it, and make it look better than that silver car in the video. Their finish work is very nice, but the whole idea of the car is way too "Mad Max" for me. As far as the wife goes, Im sure she wasnt overly keen on the idea of hand crafting the front and rear of your car either, so she'll get over it again...

Well there you go.
As for the Shelby that ended up as "Quicksilver", I think it rekons back to the late 70's when guys were putting those bulging fender flares on everything. It looks dated to me, but who am I to comment on a "dated" look? All I know is that the owner, after paying 6 digits to have it built, is willing to entertain an offer to sell it. If I was to get a hold of a 69 car, I'd have huge reservations about doing anything radical to it that would detract from it's appeal to the masses (unlike the present car). If you've seen the 69 FB "Blackend", that would be the direction I'd go w/ it.
But this is all of my ass talking anyway,....I just came out of the garage a little while ago, and I smile everytime I remind myself that that thing is mine. Until the day comes that I have to drag myself down there only to be reminded that it is still down there will my mindset change to a point where I fire up the Sawzall and the cutoff wheel and start on the Bullitt Fox.
Lastly My wife had no clue what was going on in my garage,....Much like Baron Frankenstein, Mrs "F" had no clue of what kind of monster he was building in his garage either.
