so, not only is my car not working, but tonight, while bitching about it on here, i spilled iced tea, all over my keyboard.

i'm using an onscreen keyboard right now, and i feel like i'm a special needs child....i feel sorry for these little guys now...

if i don't post tomorrow, you'll know why

Don't fret too much over the keyboard. You can get a new one for $10. $25 will get you something really cool.

I had a half can of Dew take my keyboard one time. Good thing they are one of the cheapest parts to replace.

you can clean it, if you feel up for it. take a small screwdriver and pop the keys off, then a soapy rag with warm water.

I've spilled all sorts of stuff on my keyboard and it still works. Sure, the keys may be sticky from time to time but it hasn't crapped out.

i'd ask what was wrong with ur car, but it'd probably take an hour to type it in so... until u get a new keyboard.

u should get one of those wireless keyboards/mouse sets. my buddies tell me they're cool, but i've only got a wireless mouse btw: u get what u pay for with wireless devices if u go that route

Your keyboard should be fine. The only thing I would watch for is if your keys start sticking. It won't hurt anything, just really mess up your typing. If you feel bold enough, plug your keyboard back in and elaborate on what is going on with your car.

k....got a second keyboard here...the problems been talked about on here a bit lately. Distributor went, or the "stator", I should say. So I pulled apart the distributor, replaced the part, put it back in, and now it sounds worse than ever. I did everything by the book, and still, now it's doing a weird popping noise, nothing seems to be kicking

when you say it sounds like ****, what do you mean? does the car crank, run, stall?

it cranks, but pops from what seems to be the tailpipes...it's not starting though, not running...just will not start
