I am already using the longer version of Pro50's handle. It's almost identical to the Triax one.
I was wondering if there was a way to make it longer?

Ha ha, isn't it though . . . the top pic is mine right after the install, since then I have cut another inch off the stick, changed the rubber boot back to the Factory one and added the Hurst Line-loc to it.stangGT97 said:dang hotrodnut, that thing is oldschool![]()

I only left the handle longer for 1 day before the first cut but I was able to have the seat a little further back and still not have to stretch for the 5th gear shift. With the leverage of the longer handle it did shift without effort and seemed to not be as notchy as it is now, but I like the "notchy know I got it in gear" feel the shortened stick has.stangGT97 said:oh well that still looks sick. How were the throws with that longer handle on?
I did mity, I'll try to get a pic of it this week-end for you to see. It is a little tight to get the rubber groment from the stock boot over the stick but a little white lithium grease made it slide right down.mity2 said:can u use OEM shifter boot with Hurst shifter handle?
Yea, I didn't like that part of it either Mity so I tried the stock boot and like I mentioned using the white lithuim grease it slipped on without any damage to the rubber gromet or tearing the boot.mity2 said:cool let me know when you get it. I like the old school shifter, but don't care for the accordion
