of a 64 to 66 (im guessing they would be the same but if not a 65 please) of an engine shot focusing on the length and width of the radiator?

i got a radiator coming. i was just wanting to see how my current compares to a stock one. the PO cut the battery tray to fit this radiator in there so dunno how big a stock one is.
a stock 3 core radiator is coming and i bought a 5 bladed steel fan with a stock fan shroud. that should make it better seeing as EVERYTHING would be new (all that plus the water pump and 180 t stat).
on the stock shroud tho... its TINY compared to the one i fabbed up. around a 1/4 of the depth. mine goes form the radiator to almost the power steering pump/

you don't need the shroud to go that far in, it only works when the fan is half in and half out of the shroud. I will try to post a pic and some measurements of my '65 engine bay tommorow.

The stock rad, flange to flange, will be about 1.5 inches wider than the opening in the rad support. However, if they cut out the battery tray then they may have cut the opening wider and the mounting holes along with it. Perhaps you could post a picture of your rad support?
