I'm just looking around at the engines available in my area and theres a few 02 or 03 gt SOHC 4.6's...can that be dropped into a 2000 GT w/out too many fitment or computer issues...or any issue for that matter?

one's built by Romeo (01-04) the other built by Windsor (99-01) but they operate the same, and have the same engine mount i believe - so should be fine

+1 You should be good man, they are identical engines and like Cobra Red said the engines are just made in either Windsor or Romeo but operate the same. Good Luck with the swap.

Yeah, they are different but the same really. I would just use your original sensors and things like that. Keep the newer intake because it has the aluminum crossover.
