Front end restoration on my 69 Mach 1: This is a photo of one of the few parts off my car that didn't get tagged. Now, of course I can't remember what it is nor can I find it in my books. It's a pair, off the front end of the car, and the black rubber pads (one not pictured) in front go into the brackets (left-front & right-top) . I need to know what it is, where it goes, and what color it is to be painted.
Thanks for your help.

Looks to me like lower radiator support brackets, they bolt to the front strut arm brackets near the radiator core support. The rubber sits in the bracket, the radiator sits in it and then the upper bracket holds the radiator in place.

That seems logical. I just can't find any diagrams or pictures to confirm. Do you think they would be painted black like the radiator?

correct..those are the lower radiator mounting brackets. make sure you have the rubber grommets that go in the brackets. Dont want metal on metal radiator/bracket rubbing.

Mine are painted black

originally i believe the radiator brackets were silver cad plated or possiblly black oxide. i doubt anyone would ding you if they were painted semi-flat black though.
