Hello,
I am 59 years young. I have worked on cars since I was 14 years old. I have restored.four 67 mustangs. Worn all original factory AC 225 hp 289 automatic convertible Wimbledon white paint GM White convertible top white interior phone car to drive One California special clone One pro street 390 with a blower. I can’t remember the other one.
I own a 1970 Mustang Mach 1 428 Colbert jet. Brought back to 99% original. Glad to post a picture once I figure out where you do that.
I simply love Classic cars. I don’t know if you can mention other cars on here, but I have had my 66 Malibu for 44 years born Marita blue two speed power glide 283 when I got it. It was yellow 327 two barrel with a crack in the cylinder wall turbo 350 transmission. Frame off restoration 2019 way before that installed a 375 hp Corvette spec Camelback 202 heads for balance steel Crank headers 3 inch exhaust all the way back you get the picture.
I started out as a lot attendant at Shelby Lincoln Mercury Ford of Tucson worked my way up to the body shop left worked on junkyard row for four years, this is where you learn how to tear down cars. Had my own restoration shop for nine years contract, labor myself out to some of the best restoration shops in Arizona if it ain’t right, I wouldn’t own it and drive it fix it not with smashed coffee cans into the rear quarter panel with half a gallon of Bondo.
I am a pre-72 kind of guy. You can bury me in an electric car, the only way you’ll get me in one. Build a 66 Chevy nova 11 drag car pulled the six cylinder three on the tree, dropped a 427 in it with dual quads no hood 4 speed Munci rock crusher transmissio, fully tubbed Ford 9 inch rear.
