Can you put 4v heads on a 2v?

don't bother. it's not worth it. just buy a complete 4V engine.

yes, that's the whole point of "modular".

but you'd need to change the alternator, intake, timing chains, computer, injectors and a bunch of other stuff. not to mention it would kill the compression. it would be easier, cheaper, and faster to just buy a 4V engine.

Its possible for stage 2 Heads to make stock 4V power, why wouldn't you want to do that instead??

at least i know it's possible, people are always like "ohh i'ma do the PI swap" and i think "why not do the 4v swap?" it would make even more power

I swapped my heads for 8V's off a Ferrari 360. direct fit. reused the head gaskets too. now my car beats the EVO at 60fts.... killa man. got the heads off ebay

Its gonna be way cheaper to do the PI swap in the long run. With the PI swap and the right comp. cams you can push cobra hp and still save a lot, especially if you are paying someone to do it. Thats what i plan on doing to mine, on this one ebay store theres a complete PI kit that comes with EVERYTHING you need for $1320 shipped. And thats all new parts, you can get used even cheaper. Then just buy comp cams for another $400 and youre done.

If you add that up, it comes up to be about $1750. Ive have found alot of Aviator 4V 4.6 motor for $1500-$1800 on
www.carpart.com
