So I was watching TV and see them tuning a Diesel truck with a PDA and its a Banks system. So do any tuning companys (ie SCT, Diablo, etc ) make a system that can be tuned and monitored on a PDA/Smartphone?

I don't know if there are, but would love it if I could find one that did. I have an HTC Mogul phone and an Xcal3 that I would LOVE to pair together...

Ford sells software to its techs that you can monitor the ECU with. I believe you can flash too, but you can't make custom programs with it.

HTC PPC 6800 that id like to interface it with. Needing a programmer for the tune is fine but for the PDA to switch tunes and moniter is what im looking for

Haha, that's the same phone I have. I've been trying to get the SCT software working on it, but it's alot harder than you'd think.

Yeah and it cant interface with the Bluetooth on the Pioneer stereo/nav system
Smartphone my arse BTW DONT do the firmware update to 3.5xxxx I forget. Keep the older 2.xx whatever cause the new one makes the thing reboot on several occasions

Sniper tuning software has the ability to data log slightly from a pda.

Is there software you can get to hookup a laptop and flash the ecu? That seems like the easiest thing to do.

Yes there is software to do it from the laptop or PC. IDK if thoes could work running Windows Mobil 6 or not and if the program could be loaded into it or a memory card

i do it with my SCT Pro Racer Package.
