can you use non convertible style motor mounts on a convertible?

just like the title says, can i use the old non-convertible style motor mounts on a 93 convertible? i'm talking about the big rubber brick style, like in the image below. thanks

well the thing is, i'm picking up a 93 convertible gt roller that i'm going to drop an engine/transmission in, repaint, then flip. it comes with brand new either prothane or energy suspension engine mounts, but i'm going to put those on my 87 gt hatch, and i was wondering if anything would prevent me from using the mounts that are currently in my hardtop (the brick style) on the convertible, or if i need to go buy some convertible style mounts from the parts store.
