Candy Apple Red?

I've been planning on painting my car in the old candy apple red from the 60's, code T I believe. I've seen a few cars in that color both in person and on the internet and it looks like a very red red. But the color chit shows it as having a lot of blue in it making it look more like burgandy, I got some mixed for me and it doesn't look at all like what I've seen. Do any of you have any experience with this?

Here's a pic of a Fairlane I saw at a show recently painted in the stock Candy Apple Red, my paint looks more like burgandy? I haven't sprayed a test panel yet but I can't imagine it spraying out much different than it looks like in the can.

Thanks for the pic of your truck, that's about how it looks in the can, a much darker shade than what you see on the Fairlane. Red fades probably more than any other color so you should be happy, your truck looks incredible for original paint.

The good news is I showed my wife when I got it today and she likes the color of the paint in the can as much as she liked the color on the Fairlane when we saw it. Since I'm building the car for her and she's good with it, I'm not going to worry about it I'll spray a test panel to be sure though.

Thanks for the link, guess I'll find out when I spray it. Probably due to the difference in sunlight but the two pics of the factory color look different, GT's looks darker. At least my wife took all the pressure off when she said the color in the can was great so one way or another it'll be fine
