Can't find neg, battery to block attachment point

Some have said it is below the oil pressure port but there is no hole there?

Could someone show me a pic?

It shares a bolt with something else...I can't remember what at the moment. But it is in the area you described. It doesn't really matter as long as you get a good ground. Just attach it wherever you can.

It's on the side of the timing cover, but into the block. I forget which side though..i think pass??

Some other thoughts on the ground...

The picture shows the common ground point for the battery & extra 3G
alternator ground wire as described above in paragraph 2. A screwdriver
points to the bolt that is the common ground point.
The battery common ground is a 10 gauge pigtail with the computer ground
attached to it.

Correct negative battery ground cable.

The computer has its own dedicated power ground that comes off the ground pigtail
on the battery ground wire. Due to it's proximity to the battery, it may become
corroded by acid fumes from the battery.
In 86-90 model cars, it is a black cylinder about 2 1/2" long by 1" diameter with a black/lt green wire.
In 91-95 model cars it is a black cylinder about 2 1/2" long by 1" diameter with a black/white wire.
You'll find it up next to the starter solenoid where the wire goes into the wiring harness.

Just did it when I did the 3G upgrade because I had enough leftover wire and I figured it would never hurt to replace my ground with a nice clean new one

All my junk has the battery in the trunk. So I use the provision I mentioned above.

I hate to revive an old thread, but my timing cover lacks that bolt hole. I put PS back onto my car and had to get a new timing cover that does not have that bolt hole. Any other suggestions of where to attach the ground wire?
