Can't get the fuel filter off

I got a 2001 gt and I cant get the fuel filter off, I may sound like a idiot,but is there any trick to getting it off?

The right tool makes all the difference, especially in the case of spring locks.

yeah you can get them at autozone pretty cheap and they do come in handy

Autozone has a kit that has 6 different sizes. Pretty good to have.

$10 for the kit of 6 at Autozone. Use the light baby blue one. Read the Bullitarchive article. Its easy and quick. Just be prepaired to have gasoline pour on you. I just did it Saturday...
