the steering on my car is real squirrely. If the road is on a slant, the car pulls to the lower side of the road. If I hit a bump, I'm pulled in the direction of the bump (bumpsteer times 4). Wind throws me all over the place. The steering becomes loser the higher the speed. Any idea what is wrong with my suspension? Right now I have no rear swaybar, but it was fine before I had accident. I'm thinking maybe the control arms are bent?

How bad was the accident? Its possible that if it was bad you bent your frame (hope that didnt happen) Theres a high posibility that your suspension components got messed up in the accident. I dont see how not having a rear swaybar would cause that much of a problem.

For starters, I would go to the fronts, jack it up so the tires a couple inches in the air and check for slop ....grab the tire at 12 and 6, trying moving it in that plane....grab 9 and 3 and repeat....that would give indications of bad ball joints and even tie-rod ends.....stick a 4 ft bar under the tire and lift up....any slop in there??

check the steering rack, its right smack in the middle of the front end...are the bushings there? any fluid leaking around it? Is it loose?? Have someone turn the wheel while you watch the rack/tie-rods go thru there motions...give it a good look see...I for one wouldn't be traversing at high speeds with that puppy...sounds spooky to me...Musta creamed something in the accident...Time to dig around some or get it to a shop... :(

yea I'm saving $$$ for the worst. The first and most obvious was the bent axle, pushed in strut tower, and rims ripped right off the car. It was checked for bent frame, and fortunately it's straight. It was aligned just fine, but I think that as you said, the front end is spooky. I"ll get under there as soon as I can bogart a jack from someone.
