ok my car has 76k miles on it, and i put new plugs and wires. MSD superconductors and autolite platnum plugs. and whenever i let off the gas for more than a few seconds the car starts to miss out and when i hit the gas again it just gets worse. the car feels like its coming off a 2-step. the RPM stays the same because the car is missing, then takes off after a second. and lately it misses when i shift at high rpm and WOT. the wires only have about 1000 miles on them and the plugs only have about 3k miles on them. i tried to change the fuel filter but it requires a special tool i dont have, anyone know where to get it? under WOT the car seems to run fine, and really it does. 14.50@96 isnt too bad for o/rH and catback and 3.90 gears is it? but i cant help but think its costing me some power, and the missing is really annoying. can anyone help out with this? thanks.

you can get the tool for the fuel filter at any auto parts store. just go in and say you need the tool to get the fuel filter off your ford, they will know what you are talking about. you can pick up a cheapo one for like $5 i think, the one from snapon is like $20 or $30.

14.5, thats decent. if you want to up the power, you should really consider doing a PI headswap, or at least PI intake and PI camswap.
