A couple of weeks ago I paid off our 06 Freestar 10 months early. Only 65K on it and running good so I was looking forward to saving the extra cash, maybe spending a little on the Mustang.
Well the wife called me at work and told me that the van died right in front of the house as she was getting home. It appears the tranny is toast. Apparently, they are prone to failure without warning at realitively low miles. So now it is at the dealership awaiting the final verdict.
But I did take a look at the 2011 Mustangs while I was there. Maybe this is fate?
