I was driving on York Road going past Thunderbird Lanes heading towards Sam's Club in a really wet night. My buddy was driving on my left side when my front driver side tire blew, I swerved into him, cut it back to much then hit the side of the wall . Both front tires are now popped, the right side of the fender and quarter panel are dented and the headlight is smashed. Other than that nothing that I can see. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good body shop that is pretty inexpensive?

Dude, are you OK? That is horrible, I hate accidents. Have you ever heard of Tri-County Collision? It's over on Jaymor (sp?) road in Southampton. They did work on my Riviera about a year ago and I was really pleased with the quality, and they are relatively inexpensive. They used to be Maaco but changed the name or something, I think a different guy owns it now.

Yeah I'm perfectly fine. I was surprised as hell to be honest. If you saw this you would have thought my car and myself would have been a lot worse. Even my buddy who I hit thought that. My buddys gf was a little shaken up but not bad. But I had my belt on so I was fine. It almost seemed like a Nascar race when you see drivers go into the wall. They hit then roll away a little bit. Yeah that was me. At least I can walk away from it laughing-wait until the bill though.

Few Questions

S**t happens, I just wish it didn't happen to me. How hard is it to put new quarter panels, bumpers, and headlights in? I have been doing some thinking. I wanted to get a new bumper anyway, so why pay a place to install a bumper and paint it just so I can take it off and put a new one on? And if it is easy to do the stuff I said earlier, I might as well do the work and save myself a lot of money for labor. The tow truck guy estimated it at 2 or 3G. Screw that. I'll buy the pieces I want, install them, and get the entire car painted for that much. You guys agree? I just need to know of where you guys got your car painted.

Muscles00GT - sucks about your rims, I might need two new ones for my front. I couldnt really tell if they were bent, they were mangled though, tell ya that much

yeah. Mine is very minor though. You can't even notice unless you look real close. I'm just mad at the fact that it happened. Tankfully it's not bad or anything and I don't need a new tire nor a new rim..I hope everything goes well for you. What kind of bumper were you looking into getting?

im not sure about the quarter panels, but if the bumper should just bolt on, its would be pretty easy to do. I helped my cousin take his off and it just bolted back on with no problems. I would assume an after market one is the same.
