car having trouble turning over...

when I try to fire the stang up 2/3 of the time it wont turn start. There is battery power flowing to it so its not a dead battery. Could my starter be going out??? The car has 26,000 milkes on it and is a 2002

I agree that it sounds like your starter. The solenoid might be going bad on it. Should be under warranty.

Then again tt might also be your ignition switch on your column.

You probaby already have done this but....

Have you checked the battery terminals and all of the grounds? Just a little corrosion is all it takes in my humble experience. Especially on the cable that grounds the block....

yea I left it at my friends house and he was looking at it and I told him to see if they were corroading, he didnt notice anything. When I pick it up today I am going to look at that first thing.. what should I do if they are corroading???

Mine has trouble sometimes. It's an 03 with 24k on it.
