Car is in the body shop

Well today I received my "end pieces" of my stock rocker panels from that guy from Toronto. So I'm finally able to get the bodykit off

I already took the back bumper off at home. Like I knew, It's not perfect. A few scratches but I could live with it. I brought the car to the shop and once there, I took one rocker panel off (the one they didnt work on). So they're gonna take the front bumper and the other rocker panel off on Monday. They'll clean all the urethane also. So I'm gonna have the car on Monday. Hope it turns out ok. I'll take pics on Monday as soon as I get it.

So the kit is gonna be for sale starting on Monday

Well I just came back from the bodyshop..but with no stang.

Guess what ? The guy wasnt able to remove the black stuff. Apparently the urethane was really "cooked" there. So I was trying to get it on the warranty from the beginning but pretty much knew I was gonna pay something. So I knew no matter what I needed a "buff" job after the fixing. So here goes around 125$.

The guy tells me he'll do it for tomorrow for FREE. Thats fixing the whole front bumper and the whole passenger side rocker panel. I was like

I saw the car with no kit at all and I must say that it will look really good. The wheels and the clear headlights make it much nicer. Cant wait to drive it "stock" look Good news, I LOVE my car way more than before. I was beginning to hate it really..

But then knowing that I wasnt gonna spend a dime, I became a little bit "hungry" for more. I knew the rear bumper wasnt looking good at all (the real bumper) and that my new "end pieces" looked like chit as well, so I asked for a quote. So my whole rear bumper is gonna get painted (scratches + bad paintjob which has almost NO clear), my front bumper, my passenger rocker panel and the 2 end pieces for 350$ CASH. Not bad considering that I will not need a buffing shop and that I should of paid for something from the start. So 350$-125$ = 225$ from my pocket for a bunch of parts painted.

I'll sell the kit for 500$ so with the 150$, that will be a good down for some stainless steel tailpipes.

Another thing, when I walked in, the guy tells me "I'm glad you're here, I need to talk to you". I knew what was going on. So he tells me and we start to walk in the "shop" so he can show me. But the shop is divided in like 3 sections. As we walk in the first section, I hear a LOUD car starting I dont think much of it. SO we keep walking and we see those 2 employees at my stang. The 2 of them with a huge smile on their face. One is in the car, reving it, and the other is leaning on the door. As soon as they see us, he shuts it down. I was mad..but not mad enough to start chit. But my face and eyes talk a lot. I heard that many many times. So I tell the guy "Were you going for a test-drive?", but my eyes added "you F***** piece of dogchit ". And I didnt wait for an answer but kept walking by him so he knew I was in a mood. "Eh..eh..ehh.., no I was just parking it closer to that door....Nice car man" I didnt even respond, or look at him. JERK. He propably got in a little "episode" with his boss after I left...

First thing..I went to get the car today but it wasnt ready . It is ready for paint though as I saw it from my own eyes. It will be ready tomorrow. I discovered today that one of the guys from that little "episode" yesterday at the shop (not the one in the car..but the one that was talking to me), is actually the asst.manager or co-owner. Two brothers are running the shop. So I doubt that he got into ****..

No Jim, I didnt call you on Sunday. I was with the GF all day. Went to see Spiderman2. Was a really good movie. Two thumbs up from me. But with the ending, you can see that the "Green Goblin" will be back in the 3rd Spiderman. I hated half of the original Spiderman because of that Stupid goblin (Wilem Dafoe). I went to Luskville on Saturday. The jet car was amazing at night. We drank a few beers as well. I dont know why I didnt call you...

Ironically I went to see Spiderman 2 myself. I found there to be too many academy award moments. As far as villains go, I prefer Doc Oc to Green Goblin, and prefered the fight scenes in this one.

I hope in the next one he gets the symbiant or something, that would be worth seeing .

Dont get me wrong, that shop does good work but I didnt like what I saw.

Is your GF still away ? I could come and show you my stang later or something.. ........if it's ready
