Yep. She's now lowered. Just need to get an alignment tomorrow. The driver's side ball joint was really time consuming .... and so was the dirt dauber nest that was on the pumpkin. They didn't want to be screwed with, lol.

Pics tomorrow.

Anyway, on to the tech question. While down there, I removed the dog bone everyone says to ditch. At least what I thought was the dog bone thing. There are two pieces (one on top & one on bottom). The top of it is the piece that smacks the pinion snubber when you hit a hard bump. (H&R sent me a new, smaller snubber to install.) Should I have removed this piece?

Okay, thinking more on it .... I WOULD just leave the top portion off if my car was not lowered. Since I'm now lowered, I need to put the top portion back on. I'll just get some bolts that are full threaded and slap it back on.

I checked on the spacers for the struts. I couldn't see the bottom side but it looks like I have one on top. I can't measure it perfectly but it looks like it is about a 1/2" spacer on the top side. What did you end up using?

Thank you Tom.

I ended up doing 2 small ones on top & 2 large ones on bottom. I wish I knew what I was "supposed" to use. I'll ask the alignment dude tomorrow & see what he has to say about it.
