For the first time since i had my car im having problems. Often times when I start driving faster then normal(fast shifting and whatnot) when i decelerate my rpm's will drop to 300 or so(reaaaaallllly low) and the check engine light will come one for 10 seconds and then it goes back to normal. Lately when i do the same the car will stall and i have to start it back up. It sucks when your going through an intersection and your steering whell locks up so im kinda interested in fixing this . Where or how can i pull codes and what do you all thinks going on here?
thanks
kevin

to get your codes, just go down to the local AutoZone, I hear they will do it for free... I guess they are a company from the olden days (actually did stuff to be nice w/o thinking of a profit...)

AAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH........ i went to go take a look at my CAI, figuring maybe the IAT senser came loose or something as a reason my cars been acting up and i think i found the problem. My filter disapeared! It must have fell off and rolled its way outta the fenderwell. Brand new K&N somewhere in the streets of Jupiter. This sucks

That sucks but it's really funny no offense. I had a homemade CAI on my old car and that damn air filter kept slipping off no matter how tight I got it on there. I could only tell that it was hanging there by the strange idle. Oh well, I'm sure next one you get you'll tighten on there...and at least it's not something major.

I don't know exactly what you need... just give Ford a call, they will know the part number for the module that you need... like I said, it's not expensive... you need a code book too...

-someone else on here should know exactly what you need...

I'm also intrested on knowing where I could get one... it would come in very handy in Germany where an AutoZone is 3000 miles away..
