I like the look of the black GT better, but if you do get that one, please get rid of the Cobra badge.

Do any of them have maintainence papers or anything?

Just out of curiousity, how much are you talking here?

I like the looks of the black one (minus the faux-bra accents) I assume it would have had front end damage if it has a pretty much all new front end (headlights, bumper, hood)

ABSOLUTELY. I can't stand posers.

I've only talked to the owner about the basics. As soon as I decide which one I want, I will research it further. Neither car has had any kind of damage/problems from what I've been told.

Go with the black....assuming its in good mechanical and cosmetic condition. If not, wait until you find a 5sp that is.

Go for the 5 speed. The 01 is nice, and the price is good... but an auto stang just seems to be an oxymoron unless you are pushing some real big power and need consistency at the track. I love 5 speeds.

But, the price for the 2000 is a little high IMO. I paid 7800 for mine with 93k on it, almost stock. He has alot of aftermarket parts, but they usually dont get factored into resale value.

You really cant go wrong with either one though, they are both good looking cars with tasteful mods... it comes down to auto/manual IMO. That 3500 stall would probaly make the auto a damn fun ride though.

I voted for the silver as an alarm went off in my head when I see just about the whole front clip has been changed out/upgraded. But I agree with everyone else, the 5sp is too much fun to settle with the auto. IMO, with the prices that you posted, I'd keep looking till you find exactly what your looking for. Don't settle.
